DESCRIPTION:APPL 518 변화를 위한 소통: 설교를 위한 에토스, 파토스, 로고스 (COMMUNICATION FOR TRANSFORMATION: ETHOS, PATHOS, AND LOGOS OF PREACHING) – 김영봉 교수\nCOURSE DESCRIPTION\n\n성경은 변화를 일으키는 힘이 있습니다. 우리의 설교는 어떠합니까? 하나님 말씀의 힘이 설교를 준비하고 전하는데 어떻게 드러납니까? 핵심 열쇠는 설득의 세가지 요소로 알려진 에토스(품성), 파토스(감성), 로고스(이성)의 상호 작용에 있습니다. 에토스는 설교자와 말씀의 역동적 관계를 결정합니다. 파토스는 설교자와 회중을 연결합니다. 로고스는 설교자의 본문 해석의 길잡이가 됩니다. 이 수업을 통해 설교에 있어 이 세가지 요소의 의미와 역할을 살피고 설교를 위한 바른 태도와 도구들을 갖추게 할 것입니다.\nThe Bible has transformative power, but what about our preaching? How will the sermons we prepare and deliver reflect such a transformative power of God’s word? A key lies in the interplay of ethos, pathos, and logos. Commonly known as the three modes of persuasion or rhetorical appeals, ethos governs the dynamics between the preacher and the word; pathos relates the preacher to the congregation; logos guides the preacher’s interpretation of the text. This course will delineate and discuss the meanings and roles of these three elements and equip students with proper attitudes and tools for preaching.\nLive Online and Recorded: This course is being offered live online in Summer 2021. In order to support students who are unable to attend a class session or who wish to review course content, recordings of each class will also be made available, to all students, on the course Moodle page for 48 hours.\n\n
